The stay is possible during all the a.m. terms except the weekends due to the programme.

1^st  DAY            Arrival for the dinner and overnight in hotel.                       

2^nd DAY            Breakfast and meeting in hotel with the Tour Leader for the

FD excursion LUCCA, farm in MONTECARLO, Park of VILLA REALE in MARLIA and VIAREGGIO.

                        Meeting with the city guide at Porta Elisa to start the visit of the city from the architectural point of view of the French court in the person of Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, sister of Napoleone Bonaparte.

                        We start the tour passing from Porta Elisa and following trough Via Elisa, which are dedicated to her, and we stop to admire Palazzo Froussard and Palazzo Matteucci, wanted by Elisa, continuing then through Villa Bottini (villa of the XIV° century bought by Elisa) and its garden which we can admire.

                        To see the portraits of Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi and her husband Felice Baciocchi we have to reach Palazzo Orsetti, which is the town hall of Lucca.

                        From here we are going to continue towards the famous Piazza dell’Anfiteatro for a photo-stop, passing through Chiesa di San Frediano, to continue then along the “ Via Fillungo” (the shopping street), arriving in Piazza San Michele , then free time.

                        Lunch with visit and wine-tasting in a farm on the hills of Lucca.

                        In the afternoon we continue with the visit of the park of Villa Reale in Marlia, which still shows the influence and the taste of Elisa.

                        The excursion ends in Viareggio with the external visit of Villa Paolina Bonaparte (who wants, can also visit the inside), then pause along the promenade and aperitif.

                        Dinner and overnight in hotel.

3^rd DAY            Breakfast and meeting in hotel with the Tour Leader for

FD excursion in the thermal city of BAGNI DI LUCCA.

                        In the morning, admission at the thermal baths or free time.

                        Lunch in a restaurant.

                        In the afternoon, meeting with the guide for a visit of the delicious thermal city, which became an international destination thanks to the presence of Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi.

                        Return to Versilia, in Viareggio, to have a stroll along the promenade.

                        Dinner and overnight in hotel.

4^th DAY            Breakfast in hotel.

                        FD excursion in the lovely city of LUCCA.

                        In the morning, meeting with the city guide at Porta Elisa, to go to Villa Guinigi, where there is the statue of Carlo III. We continue then our visit towards the Botanical Garden, where there are some plants as those in the park of Villa Reale in Marlia, wanted by Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi.

                        Short stop for a croissant and cappuccino and then, passing by San Martino, we continue towards the impressive Piazza Napoleone, which was wanted by Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi. On the square you can admire  the statue of Maria Luisa and the Palazzo Ducale, where we are visiting the Quartiere del Trono that was built on Elisa’s commission.

                        At the end of the visit, short stop in Palazzo Mansi to admire the two portraits of Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi and her daughter Napoleona.

                        Lunch in a restaurant in the city centre.

                        In the afternoon, free time in the lovely city of Lucca.

                        Dinner in overnight in hotel.

The price does not include :

Ticket to the Park of Villa Reale in Marlia present price € 7,00 per pax / € 6,00 pax for groups of         minimum 20 pax

Ticket to Villa Paolina Bonaparte in Viareggio € 2,50 pax (where some archaeological rests are preserved)

Ticket to the thermal pool in the Thermal Baths Jean Varraud € 12,00 per pax;

opening times: 08:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

You have to equip yourself with slippers, bathrobe, bathing cap and swimsuit/swimming trunks
